Having eaten at the Duke several times I can only compliment the service and the food. From the boards that are on display they seem keen to source food from Wales and whenever my wife and I have eaten there the food has been of good quality. The chips are clearly homemade and the sharing boards are a must! People are often quick to complain, but Brains have worked wonders in transforming a once grotty establishment into a place where my wife and I can enjoy a glass of wine and some food in clean, comfortable and welcoming surroundings!

Same experience here too. The chips can't have been from the chippy either, as that is far better quality than the Dukes dross! Don't bother complaining either about the poor food, tried before and they couldn't give a rats ar*e after they have your money. Shame, used to be a decent pub but Brains seem to have lost their way on this gastro / alleged fine dining nonsense! Won't ever be going there again which is a shame as have been on and off for the past 20 years.
